Youth unemployment in Spain rises to 48.9%

According to figures from Eurostat, youth unemployment is now at a staggering 48.9%. That compares to 22% for 16-24 year olds in the UK. Overall, unemployment in Spain now stands at 22.8%, with no sign of it going down any time soon.
Things seem to be going from bad to worse as Spain heads into another recession after barely leaving the previous recession...
