Santander plans UK IPO for second half

MADRID (Reuters) - Top European bank Santander (Madrid: SAN.MC - news) expects to launch shares in its British unit in the second half of 2011, Chairman Emilio Botin said at a news conference on 2010 results on Thursday.
Botin also said the bank does not need to roll over debt in Spain this year or next.
