Spain Money Saving Tips and Offers

There has been quite a big drop in petrol and diesel prices in Spain over the last week or so, which will be a welcome relief to many people.  Diesel has come down from around €1.31/1.32 to around €1.24/1.25 today, as crude prices have fallen.

I never check petrol prices as like most people in Spain, I drive a diesel, but I'm guessing petrol has come down in price as well?

Interestingly, prices in Gibraltar have stayed exactly the same.  With all of the price rises in Gibraltar over the last year, there's actually not much difference between Spain and Gibraltar now.  At current exchange rates (1.15), diesel works out at €1.18 per litre in Gibraltar.  A year ago I was paying 67.5p per litre for diesel in Gibraltar.
