Spain Money Saving Tips and Offers

The summer sales have started early this year in Spain.  Many companies are starting their sales before the VAT increase on 1st July, which will see VAT raised from 16% to 18%.

Cortefiel has started discounts with aggressive offers of 50% and up to 70% on certain items, Women's Secret has discounts of 30%, while El Corte Ingles joins the trend through its Sfera stores, with discounts of 25%.  You can also find special pricing on some items of the Inditex Group stores (Zara, Pull and Bear) and Mango.

The summer sales in Spain tend to run from the beginning of July until the end of August.  With the continuing economic crisis, there could be some bargains to be had this summer.  The post Christmas sales were very good at the beginning of this year, so hopefully more of the same for the summer.
