Spain Money Saving Tips and Offers

Lidl Spain are running some special offers at the moment.  Lidl are one of the cheapest Spanish supermarkets, but these offers make them even better value.  The offers include an extra 10% for the same price, larger tins and packets etc and this was across a large range of products.  We also picked up a big bag of apples, which had an extra 500g free and there was an offer on tomate frito - a 6 pack for the price of 5.  There seemed to be offers on quite a large percentage of their products.  The competition between the supermarkets definitely seems to be hotting up at the moment.  I think they've belatedly realised that we're in a recession here!
