The town of La Viñuela is situated between two of the most important roads in the province of Axarquia. It is a beautiful place covered mostly in olive and cereal plantations. Despite being peaceful there is easy access and it is close to all the local ammenities. Lake Vinuela, which takes its name from the town, is in fact a reservoir, because of this only sail boats are allowed on it. On the south side there are picnic areas with barbecue
