The popular, modern town of Villena has approximately 40,000 residents. A new fishing lake has just been completed near the town. Alicante airport, beach and international shops are less than 45 minutes away. It is a short drive from the quiet market town of Cañada and the historic market town of Biar (approx 15 mins.). Villena has all conveniences trains, bus, schools etc. and excellent shopping facilities, bars including British and restaurants.
