The Villamartin development began in 1972 and has evolved into a village. There are two excellent 18 hole courses at its heart, including the original Club de Golf Villamartin and the new Las Ramblas de Orihuela. There is also a central square with a bank, supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants.
