San Cayetano has many of the facilities expected of much larger towns, but it is still only a village. There is a local bus service, restaurants, bars etc. Wednesday is a traditional market day. Santiago de la Ribera which is approximately 15 minutes drive away, has many more facilities including a cinema and railway satation.
