Playa de los Locos is a popular seaside suburb of Torrevieja, about 15 minutes walk from the city centre. The town has many bars and restaurants and a few clubs. There are also many supermarkets. It has a beautiful, long, sandy beach and many Spanish and international restaurants, bars, pubs and cafes. The buses run along the beachfront into Torrevieja town centre. There are three 18-hole golf courses within 20 minutes drive and the historical towns of Alicante & Murcia are easily accessible on the motorway with plenty to see and do. It is situated approximately 40km from Alicante airport.
