Penaguila Area Description

Penáguila is a small village with only 350 residents and situated on the slopes of the Sierra Aitana. The village has historical significance, it was granted the status of Royal Town, which means they can vote in parliament. It is close to three rivers and is surrounded by vegetation as the rivers aid the growth of of fruit and almonds. Nearby in the countryside is an unusual rocky arch and the hermitage del Seguro.
