Ondara town has plenty of facilities and good public transport. Although in a peaceful and rustic location it is approximately 84 km from Alicante. Ondara’s bullring is what made Ondara a famous town. Nowadays, Ondara organises another variety of game involving bulls, but this time they aren’t hurt. Bullfighting is still the main fiesta. Ondara is located 16 km inland from the coast near Denia and Benidoleig in the mountainous Marina Alta. There are approx 6,000 residents.
