Montanar is an urbanisation of Javea which is one of the most attractive towns on the Mediterranean Coast. The old village displays its influence by the Arab merchants in their voyages to the Mediterranean Ports. Its narrow streets with charming boutiques, cafés and local markets are of great interest but if you prefer the sea there are regular excursions to nearby resorts. Numerous shops where you can even buy books and newspapers in English and many other languages.
