Monovar is a town which has all necessary amenities, including a good supermarket and health centre, plus the local bodega for purchasing the excellent local wine. Approximately 10 minutes drive away is Elda, which has a cinema complex, bowling alleys, childrens indoor play area ( for that rare wet day), a Carrefore hypermarket and other shops.
