Los Balcones is close to Torrevieja and is a region surrounded by salt lakes. Close to the urbanisation are amenities such as a supermarket, tennis club, pharmacy, banks and restaurants. Torrevieja is approximately 10km away where there are large supermarkets, commercial centres, a wide range of shops, cinemas, health centre, hospital, as well as sport facilities like diving centres, sport centres and a marina. A County Hospital is being built only 3km away from Los Balcones. The community is 3km from the motorways to Alicante & Murcia, with their respective airports only a short drive away.
