This is a small popular town with it's Saturday market, shops, bank, restaurants and of course its excellent wine from their vineyards. It is situated in a lovely valley at the foothills of Sierra del Algayat and the Sierra del Podrizas.The village has its own surgery, and in nearby Novelda there is a 24 hour Clinic with the main Hospital in Elda just 20 minutes away. The village has all amenities with supermarkets, bakers, butchers, hardware shops, furniture and electrical shops along with two Chemists. There is also an excellent Saturday market for fruit and vegetables and there are numerous golf courses within a short distance.
