La Matanza Area Description

La Matanza is a very peaceful Spanish town which is surrounded by nature. It is near to Orihuela which is steeped in tradition and history. There are numerous museums and monuments for eg; Semana Santa Museum, the Santo Domingo College the Tower of Cabo Roig etc. It is approximately 15 minutes from the beaches of the Orihuela Costa. Close by are the golf courses of Campoamor, Villamartin, La Marquesa and La Finca.
