La Escucha Area Description

La Escucha is a small village on the MU620 road towards Pulpí, just beyond Purias. This is a small but thriving community and it is slowly expanding and developing. A new secondary college was opened last year, built to accommodate students from the immediate areas whom up until then, had to commute to Lorca. Most of the area enjoys views of Lorca which is an attraction, and it is close to all amenities, golf and coast. There is easy access to other major towns.
