La Azohía (Murcia) has wide sandy beaches and wonderful views to the mountains. It is renowned for its traditional net fishing, initiated by the Phoenicians and Greeks. It is close to the Puerto de Mazarrón (approx 10 mins ) which has a rich artistic heritage and many tourist attractions. Murcia airport is located approximately 45 minutes away, Alicante is 90 minutes.
