Jacarilla is a small town with just over 1,600 inhabitant. It takes it's name from Medieval songs of the knights in armour who fought against the Moorish empire. The main feasts to commemorate "La Virgen del Belén" are in September. Floral offerings and processions fill the town of Jacarilla with colour and sound in honour of the Virgen.
