Guardamar lies on the east coast of Costa Blanca. It is situated approximately half-way between Alicante and Murcia. It is a 30 minutes drive from Alicante airport and Murcia airport. It is a typical Spanish town which not only has some of the best beaches in Spain, it also has an excellent street market every Wednesday morning and some very good shops, bars and restaurants.
