This beach which is near to El Altet airport, is officially called Playa del Saladar due to the salt pans that used to exist nearby. Bathers can stretch out comfortably on the sand, and enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the city and the bay of Alicante. Located in a residential neighborhood in the southernmost part of Alicante, the beach is removed from both Alicante's centre and its tourism, giving it a slightly more laid-back vibe.
