El Altet is a typically Spanish village approximately 4km from Alicante airport. It has the great advantage of whilst being traditionally Spanish it is only a 10 minute drive to the more touristy areas of Gran Alacant and Santa Pola and the city of Alicante being a mere 15 minute drive. In the village there are various bars and taparias. The beach of El Altet is approx 500m away and is a gem which is not very busy, is clean and unspoilt and the sand gently shelves into the warm waters of the Mediterranean.
