Cieza is a town with almost 32.000 residents and is the natural capital of the district of Vega Alta del Segurais. It is situated within easy driving distance of both the beaches of the Mar Menor and the historical city of Murcia. It's economy is based on the cultivation of melocoton, being the largest producer worldwide, and olives.
