Calasparra is a small town in the North West Murcia region of Costa Blanca. It is conveniently located about an hour from both Alicante and Murcia's airports.In the summertime there are many local fiestas in Calasparra and also the surrounding towns. Population is approximately 10,000 and it is well known as a very friendly place. It produces organically grown rice.
