Cabo de Palos is a lovely traditional Spanish fishing village. The harbour has seafood restaurants and an exciting atmosphere. It has a lighthouse and is a small peninsular extending into the Mediterranean. The Sunday market at Cabo is one of the biggest in the area. The beaches are soft and sandy. The golf courses Mosa Trajectum, Molina de Segura, Hacienda del Alamo and Torre Pacheco are within 30 minutes. Los Belones, which also has several excellent restaurants and bars, is a 5 minute drive away. The historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia can be accessed easily and are about 40 minutes drive away. Local transport will also take you to these locations.
