Benimaurell Area Description

Benimaurell is a traditionally Spanish, quiet peaceful, village. It is set in the mountains but within easy reach of larger coastal towns like Javea and Altea, to the west. It is approximately 85 minutes drive north of Alicante. For rural tourists there is plenty to do, with lovely walks and cycling paths. Artists and nature lovers are drawn by the beautiful lush valleys, orange groves and cherry orchards plus almond and fig trees.
