Aspe is approximately thirty minutes inland. It stands on a tributary of the Vinalopo River. The main N330 motorway, which is about 5 km away, makes access to Alicante Airport easy. The old town centre is very attractive with a lovely square with the customary church and a casino. Its population is approximately 16,000, mainly Spanish. There is a lovely sense of community here and it has all the facilities necessary; doctor, schools, a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars.
