Archivel is framed by the remains of its ancient Iberian and Roman walls, while 16km further east is Caravaca de la Cruz, one of the world´s great four holy cities. This is a tradiional Spanish village with very good access from alicante airport (90 mins) and murcia airport (70mins) and 60 mins to the beach. Although it is a small village, it has all the facilities you could need i.e. minimarts, bars/restaurants, bakers, chemist, electrical goods, tobacconists, hairdressers and even a swimming pool in July and August.
