Alguena Area Description

Alguena on the Costa Blanca in Spain is located on the border to the Murcia province. It is approximately 50 km from Alicante and has roughly 1400 residents. It achieved its independence in 1934. The village earns its income from the olive oil and almond production. To get to Alguena take the road from Pinoso or Novelda.
