Algorfa, banked by the River Segura, is approximately 30 minutes from Alicante Airport. It is situated about 15 minute drive inland from the coastal town of Guardamar del Segura in fertile land. It is a farming village, predominantly citrus fruits, and has approximately 2000 residents. Algorfa holds a market on Sundays .It is also home to the La Finca Golf Club.
