Alcaucin Area Description

Alcaucin is a really pretty village. It is situated approximately 54 km from Malaga and 25 km from the coastal town of Torre del Mar. Alcaucin lies on the lower western slope of La Maroma in the Sierra Tejeda mountain range. It is within the area of Axarquia and has a population of approximately 1,500.
