Agres on the Costa Blanca is a typical mountain village. It is approximately 70 km from Alicante. It has access to the nearby Sierra de Mariola. The centre of the village has numerous clear cold-water fountains. The mainstay of the villages economy is agriculture, predominantly almonds and apples. Population is around 650.
