We are buying in Phase 4 Block 11 and requested details from the Sales office regarding completion dates etc.  Last week I received an e-mail back from Nuria and this is what reply I received.

" Regarding your enquiry about completion date for Blocks 9,10 and 11 of Phase IV.  I inform you we have already received the Final Construction Certificate from the Construction Co. Sacyr. I have been informed by our Technical Department that it is the next end of August the estimated date where we will be granted the First Occupation License." Unquote.

We are going out to Spain on Sunday and have an appointment on Wednesday 25th  to look at an apartment the same as ours to measure up. We cannot look at our apartment until the licence is granted, or so they tell us.

We let you know any information we find out when we return on 1st July.

Has anyone of the owners received a letter giving sufficient notice to reply whether  they can attend or not and if they can't enabling you to give your vote by proxy to someone you nominate?  This seem that this is a very one-sided attempt at running this community in favour of the Spanish.  Do not be surprised to hear that the contract has been given to a Spanish firm which smacks of back-handers.    We have another property  which we let out in Benalmadena and have given our proxy vote to our long-term tenants in the past to express our wishes on the agenda and vote accordingly with our wishes. it would be a suggestion that if there is someone who lives there on Phase 3 permanently be given the proxy for people who  are absent and cannot attend so they have some say in the matter.
