I would like to know if there are any restrictions in Spain with regard to using CCTV to protect your property.  For instance must there be notices displayed stating who is doing the recording.  Are there any privacy laws which say you cannot record anything beyond your own property etc.

I look forward to seeing the reply.

Forum thread: What would you like to know about?

04 Mar 2007 3:27 PM:

Hello again,

My wife Karen and I were worried about the delays and changes to the plan as shown in the brochure.  We visited the Show houses on March 2nd.  As usual Sonia and Elena were very helpful.  We were shown around the houses while the workmen were on their siesta, tip visit 14:00 to 15:30.  The show houses were nearly complete and were expected to be furnished next week.

As previously stated the Partial permission has been granted,  this allows the developer to put in roads and drainage etc on phases 1 & 2. When these are 75% complete the full licence is issued and building begins.  This I was told should be late April or May. Both phase 1 & 2 will be built simultaneously, the completion dates of March - May 2008 are realistic  (so I was told).  There was a lot of activity on site with large plant being used to lay drains and roads.

The improvements to the spec are inway of compensation for the delays as they started selling too soon.  Such long delays from the Town hall were not anticipated.    The Air Con will be driven by 2 units, one situated on the solarium and the other above the false ceiling.  As it is a ducted system I think the regulation will be for the whole building i.e. you will not be able to set different temps for each room.

The security system can be stand alone or linked to a call centre which responds to the alarm if activated. Cost €20 per month.

The floor tiles are now a lighter colour and not that shown in my photos.  We liked them as they were more neutral.

The walls are now all smooth plaster, this costs more,  but looks a lot better than the normal rough plaster.

The kitchens are now fitted with extractor hoods over the hob.

Sorry about the length of this post, just trying to convey as much info as possible.

Ps the temperature was 24 and 25 for the three days we were out there, now back to cold and rain, roll on May 2008, or a little later!!!!

Regards  Terry    AG 18

Hello all,

Just got back from LTR. Uploaded some photos, these plus Daveys should give everyone an idea of progress.

Sorry about the duplication;  finger trouble.  Most Photos are of Tuscany in its new livery of Vanilla, however it can be changed back to blue if prefered.

Dear Maur/ger,      As complete novices and like you under pressure to pay, we paid the deposit through AMBA  SUN.  The rate was good and the transaction went through without a hitch.  I forget how long it took, about two weeks I think.   I would not worry too much about being late with the payment,  They are not worrying about the villas being late!

Hope everything goes okay,

Best Regards

Karen and Terry      (Tuscany AG)         Due completion sept 07  (laugh, we nearly died)
