Hi 

I am a property owner in Duquesa Village and have just been reading through the minutes of the latest AGM in particular the pool wristband issue. 

It is totally ridiculous to allocate specific number of wristbands to apartments. The system worked well last year but they are suggesting a limit of bands per apartment this year. E.G we are a family of 5 in a two bed dwelling yet we only are allocated 4 wristbands. We are also told to ask a neighbour for theirs if you have guests. Preposterous !!

 

any thoughts as I have expressed my total dissatisfaction with the management company.

I too am a owner in duquesa village and when I was last down in DV in February I went into the movie star shop in Sabinillas to purchase the hub and dongle and the assistant told me it was not possible that I needed a land line etc. I am going back down again next week to get this sorted as I to only require wi-if for a fee weeks of the year and also for any prospective renters. Any advise / help would be much appreciated prior to my going down as I found it quiet frustrating when I was last down there going round to all the different providers and getting no where.

Not sure if anyone else has experienced the extortionate penalties AEA charge when you are slightly late with a quarterly fee.I normally have a fee of €440 per quarter.They neatly added a charge of €40 due to a slightly late payment. I normally pay by DD but have since changed this to sending  the fees by transfer as they just deduct what they like from my bank account.I had no notification of this and on examining previous payments I notice this has been charged 4 times in the past.I'm really disgusted at this practice by a management company who in addition never reply to emails and when I needed some help with an air conditioning issue were disinterested and never returned phone calls etc.

I would advise everyone to check their payments and also send the fees by transfer as it seems quite normal to deduct whatever amounts they wish from one's bank account without authorisation. 

Any feedback is welcome
