As some of you are aware, I maintain a register of contact details of Laguna Green purchasers. I have circulated this information regularely via email exclusively to those who are registered.  

I currently have contact details for 27 of the current and future plots.   

In view of the latest security issues at LG, I want to make a renewed effort  to get more of our neighbours signed up. Anything which encourages communication between us will I think help us to protect ourselves.  

I shall make one or two changes to the format. Completion Dates and Usage will go, in favour of separate "In UK and "In Spain" contact numbers. An Email Address will no longer be mandatory, as it will still be useful to have  purchaser's contact details (with their permission of course) even if they are not internet users.

Now that people are moving in and having direct contact with neighbours, can I ask you to pass on my contact details, so that we can include any new people that may wish to join.

I am torn.

On the one hand I beleive that when in Spain, I should do as the Spaniards do.

On the other, this part "brown paper bag" method of buying my property, that I am being offered, is causing me some concern.

Yes there will be an IVA saving to me of about a grand stirling. BUT, if and when I sell, a CGT loss of three times as much, unless of course, the same dodgy methods are used.

I would be grateful for any advise from anyone who has been offered an understated purchase price. Did you accept or reject it?

Hi,

I received correspondance from my agent this morning suggesting that they do not think the property will be completed on schedule (ie Dec 2006).

So I have emailed the site office. Jorge has responded - "The completion of your property is expected to be on the week from the 15th to the 20th of January, but we will contact you and your agent to confirm this. That is still not a fix date, so we will tell you when you could come and sign the deeds."

I am guessing that this slipage will apply to all the semis. Does anyone else have any further info?
