Thanks for your support.      Another owner on R1 has pointed out, the sales brochures for DH2 clearly show parasols and loungers around the pool areas.

Being able to sit around the pool will enable us to meet each other and create a better community spirit as at the moment we only tend to come into contact with our immediate neighbours.

I take you are a no then to loungers round the pool.

Without being rude and without prejudice, I thought we lived in a democratic world not a dictorial one.      You might like to know that I am not the only one who feels that such decisions should be more democratically dealt with.   We are after all a community not individuals.

As to the noise levels, sorry I thought the pool was there for everybody to use not necessarily in silence.

Hi, you might have your pool key but have you seen the notice that has gone up with the rules for using the pool.

Some are the obvious like, no glass, no food or drink but the one that I find a bit confusing is no loungers.

My daughter has just returned from a short break and used our fold up loungers round the pool on her last day, easier than going to the beach when you are clock watching.      Was very politely told that I could be in for an official letter of complaint.

Am I being over sensitive or are pools no longer for lying around and sunbathing!!!!   I fully appreciate that if the pool is very busy then a certain amount of discretion comes into play and also that we do not want a pool full up with peoples loungers but if they are removed after every use I cannot see the problem.

Would be interested in hearing other owners thoughts and seeing a copy of the minutes of the meeting where this was discussed and agreed.

Ok, I will try and catch up with her.     I am having difficulty registering on the web site - I have tried a number of combinations for user name but it is not accepting any of them.   I have emailed the Administrator to see if they can advise.

Hi, unfortunately, I have not been able to register on the site so have not seen any minutes.    We are flying out tomorrow for the weekend so hopefully will be able to speak to somebody then.     Could you give me the website address again and I will try to connect to it before we go.
