Hi Yorkshirepete.  We have sent Pm today re: Los Olivos.  We think we have eventially found the right Los Olivos Apartment on this site (there appears to be another Los Olivos)! Hope all goes well with visit! We plan to go out in Jan but would value your opinion in the meantime.  Good luck and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi everyone.  We could really do with some advice! Two years ago we placed deposits on 3 apartments on the Los Olivos Development in Almeria.  To do this we mortgaged our home.  During this time we have had very little contact from the developer or indeed the agent involved ie Palmera Properties, infact the Agent who initially took our deposits has left the company.  We have contacted Palmera who advise that the apartments will be completed for another 18 months and to sell our properties they will charge 6000 Euros for each one sold (gulp).  I feel we have walked into this totally 'blind' and now need to start making our own preparations to sell. Having looked at this site regarding resales it would seem the market is flooded and has become a buyers paradise. Can anyone advise on how to get started.  Many thanks!

Hi all Los Olivos people.  Just a quick hello from 2 newbies to site.  We have 3 apartments at Los Olivos 1 top floor, 2 on 2nd floor (unfortunately that as much info as we have at present as have not seen a plan to show where apts are exactly)).  Just a little background on us I'm Alex, 41 years old, Nail Technician (Beauty Therapist) Mother of Lewis (10) and Kate (5) and my Husband is Graham (44 years old) who runs a taxi business, we live in Sunderland (its cold all the time!)  It's been lovely to see posts from other people who are purchasing in the same development.  To be honest we paid our deposits 2 years ago through Palmera Properties but have had very little feedback on the site.  We have no idea as to when development will be complete but are planning a visit in January to see for ourselves.  Will take pics so if anyone wants me to e-mail them just let me know!  Bye for now.
