Hi Lomas Girl,
I would recommend Mijas Pueblo, Nerja (Coastal) or Ronda (Inland). All three are traditional Spanish villages and ideal places to get a feel for the real Costa del Sol. Let me know if you require anymore information on any of the destinations. We do also supply accommodation in all areas of the Costa del Sol.
